4-UMPIRE CAMP IN ARIZONA

This camp is for everyone looking to learn beyond the 4-umpire system mechanics. Learn to work 360-degrees for all plays at every base.


NOTE: First and foremost, this is an instructional camp. Furthermore, this is NOT an invite only camp; this camp is for everyone needing to learn how to umpire ALL plays at ALL bases in the 4-umpire system.

Umpire Focus is not concerned with your gender, race, religion, orientation, political views, or any other identifiers; we want to lift up anyone who wants to become a baseball umpire and anyone looking to improve their skillset to advance to higher levels of the game. We offer camps geared toward lesser experienced umpires (the Hybrid Camp) while still going in-depth on both 2-umpire and 3-umpire mechanics, as well as other camps geared toward more experienced umpires (the 3-Umpire and 4-Umpire Camps). Please reach out if you have any questions about which Umpire Focus Camp is best for you.

Based on your feedback, Umpire Focus is offering three different camps to address your most concerning needs. You can access short descriptions for each camp by clicking on the images in the CAMPS section. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out via the Contact link above, and we will respond quickly, usually within 24 hours.

Rest assured you payment information is secure, as Umpire Focus uses GoDaddy Payments, an end-to-end encrypted process with strict PCI compliance to accept credit card payments online. Think of it as an armored escort for payment data. We will also accept payment in person, but highly discounted rates are only available for early registration.

Look for Umpire Focus to reach out with additional details via the email address you provide at checkout, typically within 1 business day. Information about how to register with the official camp hotel will be shared, as well.

For your convenience, Umpire Focus has worked with local sports commissions to negotiate discounted rates at an official camp hotel, which is where the classroom meeting space will be, as well. While you can stay wherever you choose, we have contractually committed to block a certain number or hotel rooms at these hotels, which keeps your rates low, so we hope you will elect to stay with us. Details about how to book with the Umpire Focus official camp hotels will be provided after receipt of your payment.

We understand that attending annual camps requires both time and financial commitments. Likewise, similar commitments are made by our instructor staff, and the staff size directly reflects the size of the camp class. While we expect to give you tremendous value for your dollar, the best way to keep your costs as low as possible is to reserve your spot early. Not only does this allow us to book instructor travel and less expensive rates, but also to ensure the obligated room allotment is met, which also keeps everyone's costs down. Sometimes a few late registrations may happen, and that is understandable but, in general, your pre-planning not only helps us, but also helps you. Don't forget that your umpire camp expenses are typically a tax write-off!
